Crystal Lake sponsors one of (if not the) largest Fourth of July festivals in McHenry County. Food, contests, activities, a carnival and some big names, including headliners Eve Six and Crystal Lake natives the Smoking Popes. Fireworks went off over the lake on July 5th.
